Case Study: Beeautiful Lip Balm Packaging & Campaign

 

Objective

Beeautiful Lip Balm, a honey-based skincare product, needed packaging and promotional materials that emphasized its natural ingredients, playful personality, and premium feel. The design had to be eye-catching on shelves, convey trust, and extend seamlessly into advertising campaigns.

Process

  • Research & Inspiration: Looked at cosmetic and skincare packaging trends, focusing on natural cues, clean design systems, and approachable branding.
     
  • Design Concept: Built the identity around a honeycomb theme to reflect the product’s main ingredient. Paired this with a playful bee mascot and elegant, script-style typography to balance fun and sophistication.
     
  • Packaging Execution: Designed outer cartons with a honeycomb grid, bright flavor accents (orange, mint), and clear ingredient callouts.
     
  • Campaign Extension: Created digital and print ads (“Just Bee You”) featuring product photography and lifestyle imagery. Used consistent honeycomb motifs and natural tones to unify brand presence.
     

Solution

  • Distinctive flavor-coded packaging (Orange, Mint, more to follow).
     
  • A brand slogan (“Just Bee You”) tying product benefits to personal empowerment.
     
  • Cohesive brand rollout across packaging, digital ads, and promotional graphics.
