Hawkeye Basketball Apparel Design

 Hawkeye Basketball was skillfully crafted for a college seeking a standout design for their black t-shirts and sweatshirts. The goal was to create apparel that would surpass previous offerings and leave a lasting impression.

To achieve this, I decided to incorporate a unique twist by utilizing a rendition of the college's iconic 1962-1971 logo. This vintage-style design not only pays homage to the college's rich history but also aligns with the prevailing trend of retro-inspired apparel during the time of its creation. By infusing a sense of nostalgia, the design evokes a strong connection with both fans and alumni.

The color palette was carefully chosen, primarily drawing from the college's main colors. The use of these colors ensures a cohesive and harmonious look, while the strategic inclusion of white adds contrast and allows specific areas of the design to truly stand out. This deliberate color scheme enhances the visual impact of the apparel, making it eye-catching and memorable.
