Midway Apparel Design

 Midway was a meticulously designed piece for Grit Clothing Company, a South Side Chicago-based brand. With a hand-drawn sketch provided by the client, I brought their vision to life in a digital format, incorporating their specific color preferences.

The design showcases the essence of Midway, one of Chicago's notable attractions. In line with the client's request, I incorporated the iconic Chicago flag colors on navy apparel and their company colors on black apparel, ensuring a seamless integration of their brand identity.

To create visual interest and draw the consumer's attention, I strategically employed lines emanating from the word "Midway" and leading towards an airplane. This design element serves to highlight the significance of Midway Airport, one of the prominent attractions associated with the Midway area. The lines guide the viewer's gaze, capturing their interest and establishing a connection to the essence of the location.

By bringing together the client's sketch, their specified colors, and the attractions of Midway, this design effectively communicates the unique character of the area. It showcases my ability to transform hand-drawn concepts into digital designs while incorporating client preferences and capturing the essence of a specific location.
