Case Study: Skully’s Styling Gel Packaging & Campaign

  

Objective

Skully’s, a men’s grooming brand, wanted bold packaging and promotional materials that reflected edginess, masculinity, and confidence. The challenge was to design a system that appealed to style-conscious men while also feeling premium and professional.

Process

  • Research & Moodboards: Studied men’s grooming competitors, noting trends like dark color palettes, metallic finishes, and bold typography.
     
  • Design Concept: Developed a skull icon integrated with distressed typography to give the product a rebellious, confident edge.
     
  • Packaging Execution: Designed a sleek box with a metallic foil label and subtle skull illustration, balancing premium quality with bold style.
     
  • Campaign Development: Built ad concepts around the slogan “Just Style It”, using modern portrait photography, layered graphics, and sharp geometric elements.
